Adding GoPro Telemetry to Videos
Did you know some GoPro’s have GPS recording facility. The following GoPro’s do:
HERO13 Black, HERO11 Black, HERO10 Black, HERO9, HERO8, HERO7 Black, HERO7 Silver, HERO6 Black, HERO5 Black, Max and Fusion
But the best part if being able to add the GoPro Telemetry to your videos, e.g. Speed, Maps etc.
How do you do this?
It is fairly easy. The biggest issue is actually making sure your GoPro is recording GPS Data. So turn on your GoPro and wait for the GPS icon to go white:-

Once GPS is on and connected, just record your epic videos as usual.
Once saved open your GoPro Quik App on your mobile and connect to your GoPro

Download the media to your phone you want to use.

Click the edit button.

Then scroll Right and find the Stickers Button and click it.

Now you have a few Stickers that the data has been taken from the GPS data stored with the video. Click on the Sticker you wish to use (keep clicking it to determine which part of the video you want it displayed at).

And this is what it looks like adding Terrain (MAP) and Speedometer.
